The 15 Days Tibet Trekking Tour to Everest Advance Base Camp at 6400m is the ultimate trekking tour for Himalayan mountain lovers. The expedition takes you across the Tibetan highlands and brings you to the Advance Base Camp of Mount Everest (North side). It is the highest trekking tour in the world and also the highest point on Mt. Everest that a non-climb can reach.

We begin the tour in Lhasa and spend time there acclimatizing to the high altitude as well as explore the famous attractions inside the city. After visiting numerous important cultural and natural sites around Lhasa, we arrive at the foot of Mt. Everest and begin a 4-5 day trek from Everest Base Camp (5200m). and The 22km trekking route starts with Everest Base Camp (5200m) and trekkers move upwards along hills beside the Rongphu Glacier. Tourists are able to appreciate the peculiar shape of glaciers and then reach the Intermediate Camp(5800m) and keep heading upwards by passing the East Rongphu Glacier till the final destination—Advanced Base Camp (6500m), located alongside the East Rongphu Glacier.

Day 7One day adjust trekking from Rongbuk to EBC, camp at EBC. [5200M,8km,3-4hours]

Day 8Trek from Everest Base Camp to Camp 1 [5460M,5km,5-7hours]

Day 9Trek to Interim Camp [5760M,6km, 6-7hours]

Day 10Trek to Camp 2 [5970M,5km,6hours] sometimes in summer season, the river floods, yaks can’t cross it, then today we start from interim camp(5760m)early and reach ABC and return to interim camp(5760m).

Day 11Trek to ABC [6500M] and return to Camp 2 [5970M,6km,9hours]

Day 12Return to EBC [5200M,16km,10hours],then drive to Tent area or Rongpuk guest house

Day 13 Rongpuk-Shigatse 350 km

Day 14 Drive Shigatse to Lhasa 280 km

Day 15 Leave Lhasa by air or by Train

What you can expect

Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa by flight from Beijing or Shanghai, o/n in Yak Hotel or Dhood Gu Hotel or Kyichu Hotel (all these 3 hotels are very similar at the same category, with good location)

Day 2(B): Highlights sightseeing tour in Lhasa (Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor streets) hotel as above

Day 3(B): Highlights sightseeing tour in Lhasa, visit Norbulinka Palace, Sera Monastery, hotel as above

Day 4(B): One day necessary rest for further acclimatization is needed, hotel as above

Day 5(B): Lhasa to Lake Yamdrok-Karola Glacier-Gyantse (260 km landscape trip)-Shigatse. Shigatse Manasarovar hotel or similar one if late booking

Day 6(B): Drive to Shegar/New Tingri (240 km landscape trip), get further acclimatization

Day 7(B): Drive 100 km from Shegar to Rongbuk Monastery (16,340 ft). Rongbuk monastery lies near the base of the north side of Mount Everest at 4,980 meters above sea level, at the end of the Dzakar Chu Valley. Hike 4 km further to campsite tent, o/n in local tent (one private dormitory tent for your group, with heating service inside- have reference here:

Day 8 (B, L, D by cook): 1st day rest, we trek 4 km to Everest base camp (17060 ft, 5200 m), one day rest, set up camping (today our Tibetan mountain cook will prepare the food)

Day 9 (B, L, D by cook): 2nd day rest in Everest Base Camp (EBC-17060 ft, 5200 m), Acclimatization at Everest Base Camp.

Day 10 (B, L, D by cook): Trek to Camp I (18,000ft, 5486 m)-camping

Day 11 (B, L, D by cook): Trek to Camp II (19,155ft, 5838 m intern medium camp) -camping

Day 12 (B, L, D by cook):Trek to Advanced Base Camp-ABC Camp III  (20990 ft, 6400 m) and return to Camp II- -camping

Day 13 (B): Return to Everest base camp from Camp II (19,155ft, 5838 m) and we drive back to Shigatse city, o/n in Shigatse Mansarovar Hotel

Day 14 (B): Drive back to Lhasa along the central China-Nepal friendship highway (280 km), back to Lhasa around 5 pm, rest

Day 15 (B): hotel-airport or Lhasa station transfer, leave Lhasa for China
